JAMES TEA ROOM - SUMMER CIGAR
TEA
The tradition continues! It was touch and go for a while and a
flurry of activity in our city council chambers where a ban on cigar
smoking was under consideration, but reason saved the day (or was it
grace?) We continue our tradition of The Cigar Tea. For the last
five summers we have gathered on the porch or in the courtyard on an
August evening for cigar enthusiasts to enjoy a full three-course
tea for dinner, fine cigars, a sampling of fortified wines such as
Sherry, Port, and Madeira, and of course, great conversation. Our
spring cigar tea was well attended, and space is limited to just
around 30 people, so call for your reservation soon! We heard a
rumor that there may be a demonstration on the Art of Antique
Straight Razor Shaving! There are some of us who enjoy traditions of
all kinds; this is an evening for those who enjoy the more masculine
sort.
Wednesday August 27 6:30-8:30 pm., $49 per person (includes
afternoon tea, wines, and cigars)
901 Rio Grande N.W. Suite E-130
